Dedicated shuttle boat
During the Conference days a free shuttle boat service to/from Piazza San Marco - Fondazione Giorgio Cini will be arranged for participants.

Public transportation
San Giorgio Isle is also connected to Venice city centre by public transportation, the vaporetto.

From the city centre
Take the vaporetto line nr. 82 from the San Zaccaria/Monumento stop, near St.Mark’s Square, in front of the imposing equestrian monument. The ride takes 3-4 minutes.

From the Santa Lucia railway station
Take the vaporetto line nr. 82 from the Ferrovia stop, located in front of the railway station.
The ride takes approx. 40 minutes.
Regular departures at minutes: .02 .12 .22 .32 .42 .52

From the Piazzale Roma car terminal
Take the vaporetto line nr. 82 from the Santa Chiara stop, located on the left side of Piazzale Roma, opposite to the car parkings, beneath the ACTV vaporetto offices.
The ride takes approx. 35 minutes.

Tickets can be bought at the vaporetto stops, as well as at tobacconists.

Single and special tickets

The single water bus fare is € 3,50 for one journey on the Venice network, excluding the Alilaguna, Fusina, LineaBlu, Clodia lines and Actv routes along the Grand Canal. Single tickets can also be bought on board. In this case, however, it must be requested from the attendant on boarding.
"Grand Canal Ticket" € 5.00. This ticket is valid only for the Grand Canal route. It is valid for 90 minutes and more than a trip is allowed in this period.

One or more day Travel Card
One-day Travel Card for € 10,50 , valid from 24 hors from the time of stamping.
Three-day Travel Card for € 22,00 with a 72-hour validity from the time of stamping.
