San Giorgio Isle is also connected to Venice city centre by
public transportation, the vaporetto.
From the city centre
Take the vaporetto line nr. 2 from the San Zaccaria/Monumento stop, near St.Mark’s Square.
The ride takes 3-4 minutes.
From the Santa Lucia railway station
Take the vaporetto line nr. 2 from the Ferrovia stop, located in front of the railway station.
The ride takes approx. 40 minutes.
From the Piazzale Roma car terminal
Take the vaporetto line nr. 2 located in Piazzale Roma.
The ride takes approx. 35 minutes.
